Imagine that somebody be able to type in some keywords and finding your video on youtube and then they can find your show. So when you press play listening now, this is a very short clip just because we wanted to be able to show you how to do it very quickly, but you can go for hours on this with one image and with your whole audio file, you just scroll that image as long as you need it to be and now you have your entire episode as a movie that you can upload to Youtube and if you’ve transcribed your audio, which I know you have because you are a very, very smart person, you are able to upload the transcriptions to Youtube and then the entire episode becomes searchable with keywords. Feel free to add more images if necessary, or you can simply stretch this image until it is as long as the audio. You will notice once you put in the audio that your image is much shorter than you audio file. Make sure to put it at the beginning of the timeline so that it is butted up against the edge of the file. Once you have opened OpenShot and started your project, you can drag and drop the thumbnail into your timeline. Choose an image that has your podcast and episode title and save it to your desktop. The image you choose as your thumbnail will be the same image your viewers will see on your YouTube video.
